The practice around Building Regulations amongst lawyers is varied. For most alterations a local authority will only enforce a breach of Building Regulations within one year of completion of the development. The only issue I have at the moment is that a lot of the new finders/packagers I’m working with haven’t done it before and are unsure of what constitutes a deal that others will buy and how to package them up.
