Hi! Wow what lovely weather we have had – we actually managed a few BBQs. It’s a shame it has got a bit cooler but it is looking good after the Bank Holiday and we’re hoping for a great summer.
Before we crack on with the normal updates we’ve had a request from ‘Animal Planet‘ who are filming a series ‘Extreme Infestations‘. They are keen for some ‘case studies’ of current and past extreme infestations of any kind. Drop us an email if you have and want to take part. |

News Roundup
Statistical news tends to be light at the back end of the month. However Rightmove.co.uk released their House Price Index showing similar static prices.
On the rental side Findaproperty.com’s rental index has reported rents are up 2.7% from January to April this year, with a 0.9% increase since last year - read more here.
The other big news was the abolition of the HIP by the new coalition government, although they have retained the EPCs – it would be great to hear your views on this - comment here
