Land Registry sees -0.8% fall, but still 3.4% above last year

The Land Registry, touted as the most accurate independent index available, reported recently that it’s HPI was down -0.8% in October against the September figures.

Against the same time last year it was seen as 3.4% above, which can be seen in the graph.

Eight regions in England and Wales experienced an increase in their average property values over the last 12 months.

The region with the highest annual price change is London with an increase of 7.6 per cent taking the average price in the capital to £341,105.
