Independent Financial /Mortgage Advisor & Founder of The Kent Property Event

Zoe graduated in June 2003 with a BSc Honours in Business Information Management. Zoe was looking for a career in Software Engineering / Programming, but having found the market very competitive at that time she started to look for an administration job to tide her over.

Zoe started working for Henderson Ponsford & Co in June 2003 where she carried out an administration role looking after the companies accounts, rental properties and general admin duties.

Zoe being ambitious didn’t want to sit in an administration job all her life and seeked the partners Neil Henderson and Doug Ponsford’s advice as to how she could progress within the company. With their support and guidance Zoe decided to study and train to become an Independent Financial /Mortgage Advisor.

Within a year she had successfully completed all her exams and was ready to start advising in January 2006.

In December 2007 Zoe decided to start enhancing her profile by marketing herself on facebook, attending regular networking and making valuable business connections.

Zoe travelled all over the country Birmingham, Nottingham, Berkshire, London and Gatwick, and in December 2008 realised there was a gap in the market in Kent. Most property investors were travelling into the busy city of London to network with other property investors and professionals.

Zoe began planning and organising The Kent Property Event. The venue was booked and website was up and running. Glenn Armstrong     was to be the first Guest Speaker. On the launch day Zoe was expecting 20-30 people but the event was really successful and 80-85 people arrived and thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

The Kent Property Event has now been running for a yeay and is still a very popular property networking meeting, and from there Zoe went on to becoming the founder of Networking Pink which has a number of property networking events over the country!

From being the Founder of Networking Pink Zoe has also found that her client base has established well within her mortgage broking. And only a month ago Zoe made the decision to go out there on her own as “Zoe Cairns Financial Services”. Zoe is always looking and planning new business ventures, and is continually enhancing her profile along the way.

Zoe continues to help clients build their property portfolio and as a Buy To Let Specialist Zoe is able to help all property investors and professionals over the country with all financing needs.
