    Hi Mark
I was directed to your site by Yvonne Emery and I am very impressed. Looks a good site for the future.

    Could you please tell me:-
Property is taken over via lease option. Mortgage stays in vendors name. Can that same vendor obtain a mortgage on another property at some time in the future?
    Regards
    Mike West

      Hi Mike,

      The simple answer is yes.

As long as the first option has been arranged well, and in the case of a residential mortgage consent to let is obtained from the Lender, and the owner has good credit, there need be no issue with a further residential mortgage.

I myself have two residential mortgages.

      Hope that helps,

      Regards,
